Anita King's soulful and melodic voice has swept across the Washington D.C. area and brought her to sing in legendary venues across the United States and Europe, as a member of award winning choral ensembles and at events as large as presidential inaugurals, the Vatican or even the Super Bowl. She has performed with bona fide musical legends and other celebrities, yet she is driven by the power of music to inspire and encourage.

Anita made one of her first high-profile appearance when she debuted on the televised Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) special entitled: "An Evening with Quincy Jones". King provided background vocals for the highly acclaimed artists Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, BeBe Winans, Lesley Gore, and Dallas Austin, as they paid homage to the legendary producer Quincy Jones. Anita has shared the stage with a host of legendary artists from many genres, including James Ingram, the late Isaac Hayes, Lyle Lovett, Vesta Williams, CeCe Winans, Mariah Carey, Shakira and Regina Bell. Ms. King has provided background vocals for Bruce Springsteen twice ... at the inauguration of President Barack Obama and at halftime of Super Bowl XLIII. She hosts her own annual fundraising show for The MusicianShip, the Anita King Jazz Benefit Concert, in Alexandria Virginia. King's mature, elegant voice is one that you won't want to miss.
