About
Jamila Hashil is a Business Development Manager, leading AWS’s Well-Architected Program. She enables over 138 Consulting Businesses in North America and Canada use AWS’s best practices to help their Customers accelerate their cloud adoption journey.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s from Rutgers University in New Jersey, Jamila was nominated to teach English to Junior High School Students in Japan on the Japanese Exchange Teaching Program where she nurtured her passion for education.
Upon returning to the US Jamila led teams for Unisys and Microsoft, however her role at Hewlett Packard, as the Business Development Manager for Education in Dubai allowed her to work with Education Ministers across the Gulf. This collaboration led to elearning initiatives and STEM labs that truly made an impact.
