Nearly 50 awards will be presented throughout the evening, representing a multi-genre playlist, accompanied by categories like Best Music Venue, Best Music Video, Best Youth Artist, Music Educator of the Year, and Hitmaker of the Year Award.

On a special night, The 2024 Wammies will be full of great live feature performances, amplified by the recognition of a distinguished group of honorees and Hall of Fame Inductees, whose lifetime contributions to the music industry and communities across the DMV are not only noteworthy but impact us all. That slate includes Dan Spears, Vice President of Industry Relations at BMI; Natalie Hutchinson, Author, Educator, and Social Justice Advocate behind Don’t Mute DC; Paul Reed Smith, Founder of PRS Guitars; The late Dr. Sandra Truesdale, trusted music educator, mentor and Founder of DC Legendary Musicians Inc.; and Stephen Parker, Executive Director President of NIVA, among others to be announced.
