About The Program
The DC Funk Parade is a free, inclusive, cultural event featuring art, performance, and reflection on the state of the District of Columbia and its communities. We exhibit music, dance, and visual arts during this celebration of Washington D.C.’s U Street neighborhood funk: the subatomic particle of love that brings us all together!
Funk Parade is powered by community contributions. Every donation supports the health of Funk Parade and free music programs for thousands of youth.
