(A)spirations & (I)nstruments: Your Support is Instrumental!
(A)spirations & (I)nstruments
We envision a future where all young people have access to the joy and opportunities made possible by the transformational power of music.
2024 marks the 15th Anniversary of The MusicianShip! As a leading free music education provider in the Washington Metropolitan Region since 2009, we are proud of the number of lives we have touched and some of the rising music stars we have discovered along the way. AI is a new technology tool for many, but it has always been an essential part of our journey while helping youth and those families that need us most. It starts with a renewed focus on two fundamental educational facts:
- Studies have shown that a quality, easy-to-play instrument in good condition is vital to the success of every beginning music student, helping improve focus, increase confidence and accelerate skill development.
- Music educators often say that the ability to purchase and maintain instruments are their top capital needs despite a lack of funding. The cost can often outweigh student demand.
Your Support is Instrumental!
Beginning on October 17, 2024 and running through December 15, 2024 you can help bring in the season of giving by uplifting the youth we serve. Amplify their Aspirations and provide equitable access to quality Instruments (AI). Our goal is to raise $60,000 so our students can start the new year off with sound, song and spirit!
